Kimberly Dean Flagg

Kimberly DeAn Flagg, age 59 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on March 16, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Stanley Shank and Joyce Kingery.

Kimberly is survived by her beloved husband of twenty years, Richard Flagg; four children, Dusty (Sherry) Kopperman, Chad (Heather) Kopperman, Heather (Michael) Marcum, Gabrielle (Dev and Jay) Pollock; ten grandchildren; brother, Stanley Shank; two sisters, Karen Decker, Mindy Shank; and her two cats, Mr. Chandler and Ms. Josie. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Kimmy was a kind hearted, playful, and devoted homemaker. She had a very close relationship with everyone in her family and loved them dearly. She loved spending time with her children and watching the grandchildren play. Kimmy also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, drawing, watching television and in her younger years, taking the children to the circus and amusement parks. Kimmy is well loved and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

Funeral Service will be officiated at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
