Kimberly Irene Berry

Kimberly Irene Berry, age 60 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 30, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late William "Carl" and Barbara Abbott.

Kool Kat Kim graduated from Patterson Co-Op High School. She worked for Lifetouch for many years where she made some amazing friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling and watching football, especially the Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State. She also enjoyed going to concerts, going on cruises and attending family events. Kim will be remembered for her love of life.

She is preceded in death by her son, Brian Powell and first husband, Harold Powell.

Kim is survived by her son, Joshua (Sam Holbrook) Berry; grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Zach; her boyfriend, Harold Teter and his loving family; siblings, Linda Pitts, Brenda (Steve) Searing, Karen Powell, Bill (Sandy) Abbott and Carla Howard; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a service to follow at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
