Karter, Kimberly A. "Kym" "Kymmie" "Maude", 48, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016.
Family was the most important thing to Kym. She loved her family, especially being "Oma" to her grandsons. Kym had many friends, and enjoyed staying in touch with her high school friends, and her cousins from TN. She loved to have fun and to make people laugh "without a filter". Kym loved listening to music and watching 80's movies and "Friends". She was a very spiritual person and enjoyed her close relationship with God.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Karter, grandparents, Vance and Ondelee Bennett, Walter and Agnes Karter, and her brother in Heaven, Tony.
Kym is survived by her daughter, Kylee (Orlando) Karter; grandsons, Damien and Devin; father, Daniel Karter; sister, Andi (Pat) Garrett; nephew, Cole Garrett; niece, Blake Garrett ; her best friend, Angie; and numerous extended family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00pm to 3:00pm Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd where a memorial service will follow at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Damien and Devin's college fund, c/o Kylee Karter.
