Kevin Todd Young

Kevin Todd Young, age 59 of Dayton, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023. He was born July 17, 1963, in Orlando, Florida the son of Virgil and the late Judith Young.

Kevin graduated from the Kettering National College for Medical Assisting, as well as Sinclair Community College for Computer Programming. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and his love for the Lord was an essential part of his life. Kevin was a man of many hobbies. He enjoyed taking pictures of his family, nature, and life. He loved to kayak as well as painting and constructing scale models and miniatures and participate in all kinds of games. He was also a published writer. What made him happiest was being with his family and being a loving husband and father. Kevin had an amazing sense of humor, always cracking jokes and living life to his fullest. Even throughout his long battle with cancer, he always found a way to make others smile and laugh. While still undergoing chemotherapy, he continued to volunteer at Dayton Children's hospital, caring for others. Kevin will be missed and continued to be loved by all who knew him.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Mai; two sons, Tristan Young, Jordan Young, Daughter-in-law; Elizabeth Young; father, Virgil Young and numerous family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Judith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 217 W 4th St, Dayton, OH 45402.
