Kevin J Wilson, 54, of Kettering, passed away on October 14, 2022. He was born on June 13, 1968 to Walter J. Wilson, Jr. and Sherrie Mayer Wilson in Evansville, IN.
He was devoted to his family, his friends, and his career. He was a United States Army veteran. He served for four years and worked to set up the computer system for the motor pool at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Business Management at Park University. At the time of his passing, he was employed by PSC Industries. He worked in sales for their automotive branch. He loved his job and enjoyed many noteworthy successes over the course of his career - both at PSC and at his previous workplaces. He was highly motivated and always working to better himself. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he loved the outdoors. He dreamed of living near a beach, and his favorite vacations included the ocean. He was kind and generous to everyone - even strangers. He never hesitated to help someone who needed a hand. He had an infectious sense of humor and loved to laugh. He also enjoyed music and would often bust out into song to the great enjoyment of those around him. His personality was larger than life. He knew how to light up every room he stepped into, and he always had a story to tell. Kevin is loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Walter J Wilson, Jr.; his grandmother, Marjorie Mayer; and his grandfather; Johnie Mayer.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Sherrie Wilson; two children, Chelsea (Matt) Schultheis and Chad Wilson; the mother of his two children, Lana Wilson; two grandchildren, Kevin Schultheis and Jonah Schultheis; one sister, Kathie Jo (Rick) Garland; one niece, Elizabeth Garland; two nephews, Levi and Nick Foster; two aunts, Kathie (Lee) Bowen, and Brenda Happe; and one uncle, Ronnie (Dawn) Mayer. He is also survived by cousins and numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dayton VA Medical Center located at 4100 W Third St., Dayton, OH 45428 in Kevin's memory.
No services will be held at this time. In lieu of a public funeral service, friends and family are encouraged to have their own private memorial.
