Kevin John Stump

Kevin John Stump, known to many as "Lump" and "Big Man", age 41 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2024.

He was a loving grandpa, father, husband, brother, son and grandson. His personality was bigger than life, and when entered a room, he lit it up like the 4th of July. Kevin was always telling a joke to make you smile, and he had one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. His heart was three sizes too big, and he was always generous and caring with others. His humor, his love and his presence will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by father, John Stump; his grandparents: India & Richard Underwood; his daughter, Amber Sue Stump; his brother, Douglas Stump; his sister, Amanda Stump; his uncle, Richard Underwood Jr.; and his aunt, Catherine Shifflet.

His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Misty Stump; children: Aleia Stump, Jason Stump, Autumn (Elvis Jr.) Stump; grandchildren: Zoey, Elvis III, Bentley; mother, Diana (Jim) Cremeens; siblings: Andrew Underwood, Craig (Sara) Stump, Aaron (Shania) Stump, Becky (James) Banks, and Billy (Amanda) Stump; mother-in-law, Darlene (Chris) Nash; grandparents, Sandra (Dennis) Clark; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the service will begin at 7:00pm. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions towards funeral expense can be made in Kevin's memory.
