Kevin L. Massie

MASSIE, Kevin, age 48, of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital. He graduated from Beavercreek High School and attended Wright State University where he pursued courses in computer science and engineering. Early in his career, he was employed at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida as an information technology specialist and more recently at Dynapoint Tool and Signature Tooling in Dayton. Kevin is survived by his parents David and Peggy Massie of Sugarcreek; life partner Laura Garcia; daughter Alexis Anne Massie; stepdaughter Valerie Van Hoose and many other friends and relatives. There will be a viewing at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Monday, December 15, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. with funeral services at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Payne officiating. Private burial with close family members will be at David's Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH, 45420.
