Kevin Ray Kempton

Kevin R Kempton, 67 of Kettering, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born January 7, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Kenneth E and Joyce A (Coder).
Kevin was a graduate of Fairmont East High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Wright State University. He was in sales for over 30 years and spent the last 13 of those at Keilson Dayton Company. Kevin loved the game of football especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and had fun in his spare time gaming at the various casinos. He would always say, "I want to win something". At home, Kevin was known as the "grill master". Kevin will be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his fiancé Robin Jones and grand-daughters Hannah and Amber Cantor, brother Chris (Kathleen) Kempton, nephew Kyle (Kelli) Kempton, niece Kaitlin Kempton (Justin Flowers) and by numerous family and friends. Special thanks to cousin Dana and Frans Liem who provided immeasurable strength and support.
He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Joyce Kempton and brother Jeffrey.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 13, at Newcomer Funeral Home Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. Dayton, OH 45459 from 11:00AM till the time of the service at 1:00PM. A private graveside service will be held. Kevin's final resting place will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
