Kevin Matthew Jackson, age 53, of Vandalia, passed away on March 17, 2021, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on January 19, 1968, the son of Doyle "Jack" Jackson and the late Sally Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his dear son, Kyle Jackson; his mother, Sally Jackson; his brother, Mark Jackson; and his father-in-law, Jerry Nurrenbrock.
Kevin is survived by his beloved wife of over 34 years, Brenda Jackson; daughter, Amanda Jackson; father, Doyle "Jack" Jackson; daughter-in-law, Jaime Jackson; sisters, April Jackson and Tanya Jackson; mother-in-law, Adrian Nurrenbrock; sisters-in-law, Mary Jackson and Amy Nurrenbrock; special nephew and nieces, Josh Jackson, Faith Osburn and Taylor Haney; and many other loving family and friends.
He had worked for many years in the automotive industry, having worked his way up from being a Tire Changer to a Service Manager, most recently with Beau Townsend Nissan. Kevin was an amazing husband, father, son and brother. He met the love of his life, Brenda, at the age of 19 and they were inseparable ever since. Kevin had so many endearing qualities. His sense of humor, his goofiness and his strength of character were witnessed by everyone he met. Kevin never met a stranger, easily making friends wherever he went. He had a love of Superman and he was the "Superman" to those he loved. Family meant the world to Kevin and he adored his time spent with them. He was very involved with his children and their interests. He was always there to cheer them on in whatever sporting event they played and to encourage them throughout their everyday lives. Although he will be dearly missed by those who loved him, he is now reunited with his loving son, Kyle.
Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-6:00pm, on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where services will begin at 6:00pm.
