Kerry Nicolas Bouffioux, 28, died Saturday, May 24, 2014 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. His passing was peaceful, at home with family and friends at his side.
Kerry was born Feb. 11, 1986 in Englewood, Colorado, moving to the Miami Valley in Dec. 1986. He grew up in Bellbrook and graduated in 2004. After he graduated, he moved to Boston, MA as an AmeriCorps volunteer for a literacy program, and then it was on to New York City where he lived in Brooklyn and worked for JL Production Design in Manhattan.
Kerry returned home in the fall of 2013 to continue his fight against his cancer with the support of family and friends. He loved hiking and camping, music, films, traveling, trying new things, craft beer, and soccer. He was a faithful supporter of the Columbus Crew, the US Men's National Team, Barcelona, and Liverpool FC. Kerry lived his life with passion, humor, curiosity, and love.
