Kenya Williams Sr., age 55, was born on October 12, 1967 in Dayton, Oh. He departed this life unexpectedly on March 2, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Williams Sr., his step father Thomas Nichols & his sister Karen Reed-Carpenter.
Kenya was a 1987 graduate of Meadowdale High School. Later in years, he received a diploma from Dayton Barber College.
Kenya leaves to cherish his memory his mother Elizabeth Nichols, (7) children, Darian Bailey (Ashlee) & his mother Felecia Bailey, Pennie (Re'Netta) Williams, Lakenya Sanders (Autonyo), Tamara Alson & their mother Balynda Alston, Tiera Baker, Kenya Williams Jr., Justyce Williams & their mother & his former wife, Terri Williams, his significant other, Cheryl Bell. He leaves his brothers, Ray Williams Jr, (Denise) William Crews (Eslanda), Joe Crews, Chris Williams, Muyaka Williams, Machho Williams Sr, Juan Nichols (Letha). John Hill & numerous other beloved Nichols siblings. (9) grandchildren, Darian Bailey Jr, Dayveon Bailey, Alayah Bailey, De'laquan Smith, Aliah Sanders, Zyaire Sanders, Keith Morrow Jr., Kaylanah Morrow, Amari Baker. Among a host of aunts, uncles & extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am, with services immediately following all at Greater Love Christian Church, 2345 Lakeview Ave, Dayton, OH 45417. Internment to follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made directly to his son, Kenya Williams Jr for upfront funeral expenses.
