Kent Schultz, age 75 was born in Lima, Ohio to Walter and Lucille Schultz of New Knoxville, Ohio on September 22, 1948. Kent passed away on May 30, 2024 at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio 

He lived on the family farm in Auglaize County. He was a member of the First Church of New Knoxville, and was confirmed there in the 8th grade. He graduated from New Knoxville High School in May of 1966. He continued his education at Clark Tech School in Springfield, Ohio. Kent entered the work place as a manager of several elevators in Northwest Ohio. Later on he purchased his own semi trucks and became a long haul driver for several companies. He married Brenda on September 6, 2007. 

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Schultz; step children, Michael Prater (Tonya Potter)  and Laura Prater (Tommy Sparks); 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 2pm to 3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A graveside will follow at 330pm at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
