Kent Matthew Hilliard, age 64 of Troy, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on January 7, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Martha Hilliard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Mark Hilliard and his son, Louie Gabbard.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Megan Hilliard; son, Brian (Tiffany) Hilliard; two daughters, Elizabeth (Bradley) Ross and Erin (Aaron) Graves; four grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Molly, and Patrick; sister, Rebecca Freeman; two brothers, Johnny "JC" Hilliard and Richard (Cheryl) Hilliard. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Kent was a proud Navy Veteran. He was employed by the State of Ohio Department of Corrections for more than 30 years. Kent could repair anything and everything. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his beloved dog, Cole. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family. Kent is well loved and will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
Funeral Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Hospice of Dayton or the Animal Resource Center of Montgomery County.
