Kenneth Lester Harrison Jr., age 69, of Dayton passed away on January 4, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati on December 24, 1954 to the late Kenneth Sr. and Henrietta Harrison. In addition to his parents, Ken is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Brunsman; brother-in-law, Chuck Brunsman, Marvin Partin; mother-in-law, Margie Roberts; father-in-law, Walter Roberts; sister-in-law, Sharon Partin; grandson, Devon Bradley; granddaughter, Raelynn Larrison and best friend, Lonnie Partin.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 28 years, Vickie; children, Jayden Harrison, Douglas (Crystal) Bradley, Walter Bradley, Sheena (Donnie) Bradley, Pamela Lopez, Sherrie Harrison, Andy Harrison; grandchildren, Douglas Bradley Jr., Jordon Bradley, Gavin Bradley, Ayvah Reigelsperger, Walter Bradley Jr., Aiden Bradley, Jayden Bradley, Makaylin Bradley, Cole Taylor, Abbigale Taylor, Kaiden Thomas, Austin Roberts, Preston Roberts, Donnie Tomes, Kyle Harrison, Haley Harrison, Rosalyn Partin; great-grandchildren, Shawn Tomes, Kolten Bennett, Dylan Bennett; sister, Patricia; brother-in-laws, Tommy Partin; sister-in-laws, Teresa (Rick) Larrison, Patricia Partin; nephews, Tommy (Rachael) Partin and family, Robert (Samantha) Larrrison and family, Timmy Partin and family, David Brunsman, Anthony Brunsman; nieces, Heather (Tulio) Castillo and family; Jessica Newell, Nikole (Jacob) Reigelsperger, Trish Brunsman; cousin, Valerie; friend, Don Monde and "favorite nurse", Jerrie Shelby; as well as many other family and friends.
Kenny retired from Kroger's after 20 years and then worked another 15 years at Dayton Plastic. Kenny enjoyed sitting in his chair, in his kitchen, smoking cigarettes and drinking Mt. Dew while hanging with his favorite grandboys, Douglas, Cole and Austin. Kenny loved watching Marvel and Transformer movies as well as his favorite sci-fi shows. Kenny also enjoyed spending his free time in his garage with his best friend, Lonnie, building lighthouses.
Kenny loved spending time with his wife, his soulmate and his best friend, Vickie. He enjoyed cooking for his family and being sarcastic. Kenny will be dearly missed and forever loved by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at David's Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Road. Evangelist Butch Dixon to officiate.
