Kenneth W. Boyd, Sr., age 70 of Kettering, passed away January 16, 2015. He was born May 31, 1944 in Harrisburg, PA to the late John and Ruth Boyd. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Norman Boyd and Tom Boyd.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gloria Boyd; son; Kenny (Shelly)Boyd, Jr.; daughter, Kathy Boyd; grandchildren: April, Kenny, Jake and Sara; great-granddaughter, Alana; sisters: Shirley, Wanda, Louise (George) and Donna; brother, Ronnie (Carolyn); and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kenny retired from Ashland Chemical Company after many years of service.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 am.
