Kenneth Roger Woolery, age 58, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital.
He was born December 28, 1960 in Taswell, Virginia to Kenneth and Evelyn Elizabeth (Hall) Woolery.
Roger graduated from Belmont High School in 1978. After high school, he earned his Diesel Mechanic Degree in Lima, Ohio. Roger worked for the City of Dayton for over 18 years. He loved working and restoring all types of cars. Roger could rebuild an engine and an overall fantastic mechanic. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors. A couple of Roger's favorite pastimes were listening to music and driving his truck.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Evelyn Elizabeth Woolery on November 7, 2018; brother-in-law, Ronald Tipton and his best friend, John Buell.
Roger is survived by father, Kenneth Woolery; sister, Brenda Tipton; nephew, Lucas Tipton and niece, Ksandra Tipton.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 11-1 p.m. at Newcomer South Dayton Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment to take place after the service at Willow View Cemetery.
