Kenneth E. Whitman

Kenneth E. Whitman, age 63, of Huber Heights, passed away September 12, 2023. He was born October 1, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Darlene Gustin. In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his daughter, Amberly Hiser; brother, Gary Whitman; sister, Rebecca Whitman; and father-in-law, William James Robinson.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Kathy Whitman; daughter, Anna Dodridge (John); son-in-law, Andrew Hiser; granddaughters: Ariel Isabella and Adalynn Marie; brother, Robert Whitman (Jackie); cousin, Tim Deem (Angel); mother-in-law, Sue Robinson Johnson; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Adam and Kathleen Robinson, Bill and Sarai Robinson, Mary and Milton Krietzer, Veronica and Jack Ball and Cheryl Whitman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Kenny was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army and was a member of the Amvets. Kenny worked for Reiter Dairy for 25 years. He enjoyed grilling in the backyard, doing yardwork and setting up for parties. He loved spending time in Panama City Beach, FL. More than anything, Kenny loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Kenny's memory to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Kenny was a very giving man and continued giving even after his death by donating his cornea's to two recipients.
