Kenneth Wayne West, age 63, of Dayton, passed away August 5, 2023. He was born February 8, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio to the late James and Elzie West. In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his brother, Michael West.
Kenny is survived by his life partner of 23 years, William "Billy" Butler; brothers and sisters: Rose, Teresa, Harold, Joanne and Brian; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Tyrion and Sansa.
Kenny was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Montgomery County Children's Services for many years. He had a green thumb and loved gardening. Kenny was a talented seamstress. He was a wonderful person who will be missed. Rest in peace.
