Kenneth Wayne Davis, Sr.
A long-time resident of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2006. He was 71 years old.
He was born in Beechcreek, KY, on December 9, 1934 and worked 50 years at DP&L. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Henry Lauden and Mattie Mae Davis; two brothers, Arthur Lee Davis and Arthur Jackson Davis; and one sister, Marjorie N. Riber.
He is survived by his children, Sheryl A. Clark, Kenneth W. Davis, Jr., and Ellen M. Kincade; grandsons, Dana L. Clark, Jr., Lucas A. Davis, and Jonathan D. Kincade; brothers, Charles E. Davis, Carl T. Davis, Bobby N. Davis, and sisters, Dorotha M. Rowland and Dorothy N. Haley. Other relatives include former wife and friend, Barbara E. Davis; granddaughter, Heather Vance, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed beyond words by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, April 7, at Abiding Christ Lutheran Church, 326 E. Dayton Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Ohio (Phone: 937-878-2888). The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m., Thursday AT THE CHURCH.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer that donations be made in memory of Kenny to Abiding Christ Lutheran Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
