Kenneth Roberts

Kenneth Roberts, age 71, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday March 24, 2011. He was born on October 14, 1939 in Anderson, TN, to the late Johnnie and Minnie Roberts. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law Arnold and Nancy Nickell; his sister-in-law, Betty Nickell; and his nephew Dean Nickell.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jenny Roberts; brother-in-law, Nick Nickell; sister-in-law Della (Stanley) Konicki; three nieces, Sherri Oxner, Lisa (Michael) Heitzman, and Kim (Todd) Wallace; three nephews, Greg (Paulette) Nickell, Karl (Marcia) Konicki, and Kurt (Kimberly) Konicki; special friend, Faye Jones; and numerous other family members and good friends.

Kenneth worked as a laborer for the Local 1410 for 30 years before retiring.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, where the family will receive friends for an hour prior from 12:30-1:30 pm. Pastor Sharon Amos officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
