Kenneth Ray Woolery, age 85, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
He was born June 6, 1935 to the late Edward and Martha (Ballard) Woolery in Irvine, KY.
Kenny loved to go bowling, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed harness racing, playing the lottery, blue grass and country music, and spending time with family and friends. Kenny was a God fearing man.
Kenny served in the U.S. Army as a tanker, where he had the opportunity to serve with Elvis.
He worked at Dayton Walters Steel Factory, where he retired.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Evelyn Woolery; son Roger Woolery; brother, Hershel Woolery; nephew, Bobby Ray Woolery; and son-in-law, Ronald Tipton.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Tipton; grandchildren, Lucas and Ksandra Tipton; sister-in-law, Louise Woolery; niece, Jennifer Woolery Reece and nephew, Edward Woolery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 1-2 p.m. at Newcomer South Dayton Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial to take place after the funeral at Willow View Cemetery.
