Kenneth H. "Kenny" Moore, 54, of Kissimmee, FL, formerly of Vandalia, OH, passed away June 4, 2017, at Hospice of Kissimmee Florida. Kenneth was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 1, 1962 to Kenneth and Patricia Moore. He was a 1981 graduate of Vandalia Butler High School and moved to Florida after high school.
Kenny and his wife Sherry owned and operated a horse rescue in Kissimmee, Florida and have rescued more than thirty horses in the last four years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, horseback riding, country music and especially his dog Bubbie. He was the type of friend who would do anything for you. He was a proud grandfather of four, he was a man who loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Kenny is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 14 years Sherry; a son Brent; step-children, Jennifer, Briane, Sara "Sissy Girl" and Levi; three granddaughters; one grandson; a sister, Kim (Frank) Focht; nieces, Amanda, Jemma and Hannah; a nephew, Tyler; and two cousins who were more like his sisters, Robin and Rachael. Others saddened by the loss of Kenny include two great nieces and a great nephew, numerous cousins and dear friends.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am, June 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH. A Graveside Service will be held at Dayton Memorial Park following the visitation, with burial to follow at the cemetery.
