Kenneth Alvin Montgomery

Montgomery, Kenneth A., 81 of Miamisburg, OH, passed away on February 11, 2021. He was born March 25, 1939 in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Jesse and Marie (Gering) Montgomery. Ken was the youngest of three boys both preceding him in death; Robert and James Montgomery.

Ken grew up in Fairmount, OH, attended St. Bonaventure Primary School, St. Xavier High School and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's Degree in Business.

During his teenage and early adult years, he worked at his parent's grocery store, Montgomery Market. It was there he met and later married the love of his life, Sandra (Arrasmith) Montgomery. They were married for 56 years until her passing in 2017.

He leaves behind his five children; Kenneth (Mary Beth) Montgomery, Daniel (Peg) Montgomery, Ronald (Deanna) Montgomery, Jeffery (Lisa) Montgomery and Tina (Montgomery) Garland. A loving Pepa to Joseph (Katie) Montgomery, Vincent (Kori) Taegel, Daniel (Sean) Guilfoile, Cameron (Makayla) Harris, Collin (Tara) Harris, Jessica (Reid) Hollinger, Gillian Garland, Brandon Montgomery, Veronica Montgomery, Chase Winstel and Andrew Garland. A loving Great-Pepa to Olivia and Elyse Montgomery, Siyen, Izzy and Ariel Harris, Jude and Leo Harris, Patrick, Connor and Avery Taegel.

He was an amazing and loving father and Pepa. He was a wonderful uncle to many nieces and nephews and a cherished cousin to many. He was a dear and beautiful friend to all that knew him. He was known for and took pride in his homemade goetta, enjoyed making dinners for the homeless shelter and had an insatiable love for popcorn and peanut M&M's.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Henry Church 6696 Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449 on February 27, 2021 at 10AM.
