Kenneth Mays

MAYS, Kenneth L.

age 70 of West Carrollton, passed away at his home with family at his side, Saturday, November 20, 2004. Kenneth was born June 3, 1934, the son of Oscar and Bertie Mays. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Kenneth was a member of the VFW, post #3438. He retired from Gem City Key Shop after serving 40 years as a locksmith. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Mays; sons, Jeffery and Michael (Sherry) Mays; father, Oscar Mays; sisters, Wanda (Walter) Meyer, Allene (Ken) Towsend, and Wilma Johnson; brothers, Carl (Marylin) Mays, Doug (Renee) Mays, David (Ann) Mays, Gary (Donna) Mays, Danny (Pat) Mays, and Greg (Amy) Mays; and grandchildren, Travis, Jessika, Kaytlynn, and Faren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Bertie Mays and brother, Wayne Mays. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to a charity of choice.
