Kenneth Markanich

MARKANICH, Kenneth C. age 61, of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his father, John Markanich. He is survived by his wife, Vallery; mother, Gertrude Markanich; brothers, John G. and wife Carol Markanich of Chicago, IL, and Thomas C. and wife Paula Markanich of Des Plains, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at GSA as an information technology specialist. He was a long time member of the Moose Lodge 73 in Beavercreek, and American Legion Post 598 in Kettering. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Services will be 11 am Monday, June 1, 2009 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
