Kenneth Lee Parson Sr.

Parson, Kenneth Lee Sr., age 59, of Springboro, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 16, 2010, where the Lord greeted him and said "Welcome home, my good and faithful servant". Never was a man more devoted to his Lord and his family…his faith never waivered.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 35 years: Donna (Moran) Parson; son: Kenneth Lee Parson Jr.; daughter: Angela Lynne Parson; mother: Rose Marie Parson; brothers: Kevin Dale Parson & Mark Kendal Parson; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Kenneth Field Parson and baby brother: David Parson.

Kenneth was a long time member of Far Hills Community Church where he taught Youth Sunday School for over 20 years and was currently teaching Christian Apologetics Sunday School. He was very active with his children coaching their soccer and t-ball teams and loved model railroading and cars. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother who will be missed by his family until they can join him in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at David's Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kenneth Lee Parson Sr. Grandchild Fund c/o U.S. Bank.
