Kenneth Harold Jones, 72, of Trotwood, passed away on November 14, 2019 at Dayton V.A. Medical Center.
He was born on February 18, 1947 to James and Wilma (Schaffer) Jones in Indianapolis, IN.
Kenneth retired as a 1stSgt from the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era where he received many decorations including three Purple Hearts. He also retired from Cargill as a Mill Operator.
On March 7, 1970, he married Gloria Jones (Hall).
Kenneth is survived by his loving Wife of 49 years, Gloria; Children, La Dawn Rae Jones and Christopher Patrick (Jackie) Barry; Grandchildren, Aaron Ray (Stephanie) Davis and Marie Ann Davis; Great Grandchildren, Zoey Davis, Michaela Hartmier, Hannah Barker, and Evan Smith; Brother, David Jones; other loving Family and Friends; and his Dog, Emily Ann.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, James and Wilma Jones; Son, Kenneth Ray Jones; Granddaughter, Zoey Lynn Jones; and Siblings, Charles Jones, Elmer Jones, and Mary Strout.
He will be laid to rest at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville.
Memorials are suggested to the Covenant At Sugar Grove (7905 Kessler Frederick Rd, Tipp City, OH 45371).
