Kenneth Joseph Jackson, age 87, of Centerville, Ohio passed away Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born August 30, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Bernard and Florence Jackson. Kenneth graduated from St. Anthony's High School and the Detroit College of Engineering. His career as a sales engineer for over 40 years (working at Rexnord Corporation and others) earned him the experience required to co-found the Independent Distributors Cooperative in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also served as the president of NLV Bearings Inc. in Louisville, Kentucky.
Over the years, Kenneth was involved in many organizations for the benefit of youth, and taught Sunday School. He enjoyed being involved in his community and was a board member and president of two different HOA’s. He served in his local RNC chapter and was a member of the Jaycee's in Bay Village Ohio. He was a social person and took pleasure in being a member of a men's coffee group and a bowling league in recent years. Kenneth loved to golf and was quite skilled - he celebrated a hole in one on the tenth hole at The Villages in Florida. Kenneth was happiest when surrounded by his family and loved ones. He delighted in being a grandpa and great-grandpa. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
Kenneth is survived by his Wife of 65 years, Mary Louise Jackson; Sons, Kevin (Martha) Jackson, and Gregg (Diana) Jackson; Daughters, Elizabeth (Jim) Klosterboer, and Kathryn (Jeff) Corbett; Grandchildren, Amanda Corbett, April Jackson, Kayleigh Jackson, Brian (Kennedy) Corbett, and Ken Jackson; and Great-Granddaughter, Elowen Corbett.
