HUDSON, Kenneth H. age 79, of Bellbrook passed away suddenly Thursday, Jan 5 after a sudden illness. He was born in 1926 in Ft. Morgan, CO and served as a Seabee in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater. Ken worked at Dot's Market in Bellbrook for over nine years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and his family. He was a wonderful husband and father to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Rose, daughter Cynthia Cooper, sisters Betty Doyle, Anna Mae Stephen. Survivors include his loving wife Esther, children Carol Easter, Connie Evans, Gary Hudson, Gregg Hudson, step children Alberta Dynes, Barbara Benjamin, Harold Franklin III, Carole Powers, David Franklin, Donna Yates, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, brothers Clarence Hudson, Richard Hudson, sister Shirley Kersen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for 11AM Monday, January 9 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd in Kettering with Pastor Bob Loudermilk officiating. Entombment and military honors will follow at Heritage Hills Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5-8 PM Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Ken's memory.
