Kenneth Heatherly

Heatherly, Kenneth, age 82 of West Carrollton (formerly of La Follette, TN) passed away Thursday, Sept 8, 2005 in the presence of his immediate family. Ken was an active member of the West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired as a Quality Inspector from Frigidaire/General Motors. He was preceded in death by his younger sister Betty Sue Funkhouser. Survivors include his beloved wife Alma Heatherly, his son Jerry (Ann) Heatherly of Mason, his daughter Brenda (Richard) North of West Chester, grandchildren Lauren, Jeremy, Jordan, Emily, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Services are scheduled for 1PM Monday, Sept. 12 at West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene, 550 S. Elm St. in West Carrollton with Dr. Doug Van Nest officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10AM to 1PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Katrina Relief Fund in Ken's memory.
