Kenneth Scott "Ken" Hahn-age 64 of Bellbrook-passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, at Hospice of Dayton.
A towering redhead with an indomitable sense of humor, Ken was a Viking by way of the Pacific Northwest. Born November 30, 1958, in Sioux City, Iowa-son of the late Robert and LaDonna Hahn-Ken grew up in Granite Falls, Washington.
Ken believed deeply in freedom and served his country in the United States Air Force. After retiring from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, he worked in defense contracting.
With his seemingly boundless intellect, Ken delighted his family by acting as trivia master, 20th-century pop culture aficionado, amateur economist, lay mechanic, and ancient alien buff.
In his golden years, he retired to a piece of land-not unlike that of his childhood-where he hosted family dinners and game nights every Friday.
His loved ones take comfort in imagining Ken aboard the USS Enterprise, exploring the farthest reaches of the universe.
Ken is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cathy (née DeSaro); children, Louis (Kamille) Hahn & Sean (Robbie Grove) Hahn; and beloved friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1081 Highview Drive in Beavercreek, Ohio 45434 on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00 pm near the outdoor pond area.
