Kenneth Gaston

GASTON, Kenneth W., Sr. , 62, of Dayton passed away Friday, October 20, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his parents Irvin and Ethel Gaston; son Jacob L. Gaston; brothers Earl and Don Day. Ken is survived by his wife of 35 years, Beverly Gaston; son Kenneth W. (Elissa) Gaston Jr.; daughters Jennifer (Jared) Preece, Laela (Samuel) Roush, Kari Gaston, and Melissa; grandchildren Jalynne, Jared Jr., and Jillian Preece, Samuel and Weston Roush, Dylan Gaston, Abigail Gaston, and Sarah Gaston; brother Fred (Barbara) Gaston; numerous other family and friends. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army with service in Korea, retired from General Motors, loved to hunt, fish, ride his Harley, and spend quality time with family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Pastor Tom Bowman officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM Wednesday prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be at Dayton Memorial Park following services.
