Kenneth G. "Buff" Buffinger
Age 85, of Dayton, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010.
Buff was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Ann Carol "Nancy" Buffinger in 2009; his parents, Richard & Orla Buffinger; and by three brothers, Delbert, Virgil & Loren Buffinger.
Buff is survived by three children, Sandra Poling, Delbert Buffinger and Ruth Buffinger; two grandchildren, Raymond G. & Jamie L. Viers; four great grandchildren, Tyler, Bradley, Kody & Samantha; nephew, Ralph & his wife, Vivian Buffinger; and by his extended family & many good friends, including his dear friends, Carol & Steve Hamm and Robert Spinner.
Buff was a 20-year retiree from the U. S. Navy having served during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the V.F.W. on Spinning Road.
The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 29, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Ryan Little. Interment with military honors will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
