Kenneth M Furay, age 73 of Ripley, passed away September 12, 2016 at his residence. He was born December 27, 1942 in Dayton,Ohio the son of William and Catherine (Bollheimer) Furay.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, William and Gary.
Kenny was a graduate of Northmont High School and served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a proud independent businessman at Futura Tools until his retirement to the Ohio River! He enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Kenny liked restoring classic cars (winning a number of awards), boating with his friends on the river, and spending time with family and friends.
Kenny is survived by his sisters-in-law Linda Furay and Shirley Furay; nephews, Gary, Jr., Kevin, Craig (Denise), Brent (Angie), Christopher (Jessica) Furay and niece, Shari Furay. Kenny is also survived by his loving dog, Babe. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Kenny's life will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439 at 6:00 pm. Family will greet friends from 4-6:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
