Kenneth L. Fedrick Sr., 54 years of age, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on the evening of Monday, March 6, 2017 at his current residence in Columbus, Ohio. Kenneth was the son of John Fedrick Sr. and Ella (Kee) Morgan, stepson to Willie Morgan.
Kenneth is survived by his parents Ella (Willie) Morgan; daughter Marissa L. Fedrick; a son Kenneth L. Fedrick II (Kenny J.); Paris Crosby Jr. (PJ); two sisters Helen Fedrick and Mary (George) Fisher; two brothers John (Janet) Fedrick Jr. (John Thomas) and Bryon (Pam) Morgan. He is preceded in death by his father John Fedrick Sr.
Kenneth was a graduate of The Ohio State University class of 84', and was a very successful student-athlete and graduate of Wayne High School class of '80. While a student at Wayne, Ken received multiple varsity letters and accolades in both baseball and football. Dad's love for and high skill caliber in baseball also led him to receive a few professional offers as well. Although he never was able to play at a professional level, he was able to pass his love of the game as well as everything else he knew about the game to his son Kenny J. In his spare time he loved to fish and he was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and a die hard New York Yankee fan! However he was a BUCKEYE through and through!!!
Prior to his passing while living in Columbus, Ohio Kenneth was an accountant at OhioHealth Plan. He was a great father, proud grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend who loved his family dearly. How lucky we are to have had someone like you that makes saying goodbye so hard. But a limb has fallen from the family tree who speaks, "Do not grieve for me. If there ever comes a day that we are not together, put your hands on your heart, I will live there forever." His enthusiastic character, contagious smile and laughter will be greatly and forever missed. Daddy left something with all of us that we can cherish for the rest of our lives.
Kenneth L. Fedrick Sr. will be called home at Maranatha Worship Center on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 10A-12P.
