Kenneth E. "Kenny" Lapenna, age 54 of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014. He was born October 4, 1960 in Dayton to the late Joseph and Betty Lapenna. Kenny was preceded in death by his beloved brother, John Lapenna.
He was survived by his step-mother, Jean Lapenna; aunt, Mary Uzzel; dear friends, Brian and Anita Kitchen; Mildred Penn and a host of friends from United Rehabilitation Services.
Kenny enjoyed listening to music of all genres, especially Elvis and Johnny Cash. He was known to do a great impersonation of the "King of Rock and Roll".
The family and friends would like to extend a very special thank you to all the caregivers, David Gomia, Annette Liddell, Maribeth Smith, Jeff White, Tim Jones, Luke Parworth, Logan Brooks and Lindsey Brooks and numerous others that cared for Kenny throughout the years. A special thank you to the staff in MICU at Grandview Medical Center for all their care and support during Kenny's stay.
