Kenneth W. Davis, Sr. "Big D", age 45 of Kettering, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2014 at his home. He was born October 23, 1968 in Dayton. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Davis; in-laws: John and Claranne Gilley; paternal grandparents: Jim and Oakie Roberts; and maternal grandfather, Bob Belcher.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 16 years, Millie Davis; children: Haillee Gilley-Watts "The Ballz", Skyler Gilley-Watts "Green", Kenneth Davis, Jr. "Bubby" and Kenlee Davis "Tater Tot"; parents: Judy and Carl Roberts; brothers: Jim (Terri) Roberts, Johnny (Kelly) Roberts and Jason (Angie) Roberts; maternal grandmother, Martha Belcher; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Kenny was an avid fisherman and a passionately optimistic Bengals fan. Big D was a loving, caring person who had no enemies. His fun spirit and comical attitude brought joys to those around him.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kenny's memory to Newcomer Funeral Home for a family trust.
