Kenneth D. Hisle
Age 66, of Eubank, KY, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Lake Cumberland Hospital of Somerset, KY after succumbing to an illness he fought for many years.
He was born September 24, 1940 to the late Robert K. and Alta (Musick) Hisle.
Ken was a 1958 graduate of Northridge High School. In his earlier years, he worked at NCR (Dayton, OH) and Liberal's Meat Packing Plant (Beavercreek, OH) until he moved to Eubank, KY in 1981 where he worked as a meat-cutter for Food Town (Mt. Vernon, KY) until 1999.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Vance Hisle.
He is survived by his wife Sharlene (Smith) whom he married September 5, 1976; daughter, Debbie (Jim) Dano of Beavercreek, OH; three sons, Rob (Brenda) Hisle of Dayton, OH, Wade Orrender of Lake City, TN, Chris (Summer) Hisle of Brooklyn, NY; five grandchildren, Amanda & Amy Hisle, Taylor & Zachary Dano and Shelby Orrender; sister, Marilyn (Tom) Whitten of Dayton, OH; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends. He will be greatly missed by his girl, his dog Maggie, who still waits for him to come home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, June 22, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, with Minister Brad Poe officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
