Kenneth D. Brewer

June 24, 1956 — March 9, 2015

Kenneth David Brewer, 58 of Riverside, entered his heavenly home on Monday, March 9, 2015 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Springfield, OH to the late Harlan and Martha (Shepherd) Brewer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Catherine (Wells) Brewer; wonderful step-father to James (Tonya) Sanders of Riverside and Shannon (Scott) Beach of New Lebanon; six grandchildren, Keith, Abigail, Daniel, Raven, Sarah and Gabriel; very special friend and mentor Brother Bill Northern; two brothers, Barney (Wilma) Brewer and Brack (Sandy) Brewer; five sisters, Emily Sexton. Trudy (Pat) O'Conner, Faye (Fabe) Rotheimer, Geneva (Rick) Moudy and Jennie (Bob) Rosencranz; many other extended family and loved dearly by all.

Kenneth was a chaplain at Evangel Church of God. His very special ministry was working at the food pantry and delivering meals to Shut In's which included his Father and Mother-in-law, Carl and Mabel Wells.

He retired from U.S. Postal Service after 20 years of service as a Letter Carrier and then in maintenance.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his four sisters, Sarah Runyan, Polly Brewer, Sherrill Hyc and Emily Brewer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, in Kenneth's memory.
