Kenneth Dane Cochran, age 71, passed away on July 15, 2018 following a lengthy illness. His final days were spent surrounded by his loving family in Beavercreek, OH.
Ken was born July 15, 1947 in Cincinnati to Virgil L. Cochran and Earlene Hetherington Cochran.
Ken was a 1965 alumnus of Farimont East High School in Kettering, OH where he excelled at gymnastics.
Ken worked at GM for 28 years. Ken and his wife Gerry showed and trained show dogs, both Labradors and Norwich Terriers for many years. He loved the show rings and the bustling atmosphere of the dog shows. He and his best friend Tom would argue over who showed the best inside the rings and they had a great time competing. Ken was a kind and gentle man who knew how to have fun and lived his life to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his good friend Tom Crosley. They are now both in heaven competing again to win the blue ribbons.
Ken is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gerry Cochran; daughter, Penny Martin of Tennessee and Dustin Paul Cochran of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
A memorial service in his honor will be conducted at a later date.
