September 9, 1947 — June 17, 2014

Kenley Ray Poling, age 66 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014. He was born September 9, 1947 in Dunbar, West Virginia the son of Oscar and Hazel Poling. Kenley retired as a Major after 20 years of service in United States Air Force. Following retirement from the USAF, Ken worked for 13 years as a middle school English teacher for Trotwood-Madison Schools. Ken was also a long-time active member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Carol Francis, and a brother, Randall Poling.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne; two sons, Jason (L. Paige Turner) Poling and Daniel (Ifigenia) Poling; two grandchildren, Drew and Elizabeth. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Burton, West Virginia.
