Kendra Cecil "Kj"

Kendra Cecil "KJ", age 46 of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024. She was born June 6, 1977 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Nancy Mohr and Kenneth Houston. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by daughter, Kortney; son, Jaiden; maternal and paternal grandparents; and uncle, Bill Kennedy.

Kendra is survived by husband, Ronald Cecil; two children, Keira Cecil and Mia Smiley; God-daughter, Kayla Csaszar; her father, Ben Mohr; two sisters, Sherry (Jeff) Hack and Jennifer (George) McDaniel; and brother, Ryan Carson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The most important thing to Kendra was spending quality time with her family and watching the Dallas Cowboys football. She is well loved and will be deeply missed by all those who know her.

Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, Ohio 45439).
