Keith R. Strader

Keith Robert Strader, age 63 of Dayton, passed away January 29, 2022.

Keith is preceded in death by parents Robert and Catherine (Lincoln) Strader; brothers, Jack and Bobby Strader; sisters Delores Strader and Pamela (Ronald) Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; children and stepchildren, Brandon Strader, Shawn Pauley, Jesse (Renea Hatton) Quillen, and Tawny (Barry) Hatton; grandchildren, Shawna, Leah, Jerry, Ryan, Annabelle, Jackson, Julia, and Able; nieces, Tawnya (Tony) Johnson and Leila (Gary) Wallace; mother-in-law, Edith Hall; numerous friends and extended family.

Keith was born November 1st, 1958 in Dayton, OH. He attended West Carrollton High School and Sinclair Community College. Keith spent 3 years in the Army proudly serving our country as a Motor T operator where he served his time in Fort Riley and Germany. He was a custodian at Kettering Schools, a team leader for Delphi where he met and fell in love with his wife (Debra), fork lift operator for Caterpillar, and a truck driver for numerous companies. Keith retired from Atomic Transport in 2020. Keith's favorite times were spent gardening, traveling, drag racing, and making memories with his family and friends. Keith never met a stranger and was always empathetic to everyone he met.

Family will receive guests at 11AM on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. Dayton 45459) where a funeral service will be officiated by Tim Livingston at 1 PM. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton . Celebration of life will be held after the burial at Payne Recreation Center in Moraine. Please bring a dish to celebration of life for Keith Strader.
