Kay Gibson-Braddam, age 75 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024. She was born May 27, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Homer and Alice Gibson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Wyley A. Braddam; two sisters, Linda Greene and Shelia Gibson; and three brothers, Elmer Gibson, Gary Gibson, and Donnie Gibson.
Kay is survived by her two children, Pam (Ron) Calvert and Tracy Duran; four grandchildren, Logan (Courtney) Calvert, Taylor (Lindsay) Calvert, Ian (Courtney) Bailey, Jada (Matt) Combs; six great-grandchildren, Maylene, Emily, Silas, Tegan, Rowen, and Everett; four siblings, Bonnie (Garry) Caudill, Darlene Lutz, Donna Combs, and Terry (Rebecca) Gibson; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Linda) Greene; special sister-in-law, Glenda Gibson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kay was a devoted Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed tracking the scores. She also liked to spend time in her garden or play BINGO. The most important thing to Kay was her family and spending quality time with them. She is well loved and will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439). Funeral Service will be officiated at 11:00 am following the visitation. Kay will be laid to rest at Springboro Cemetery (2348 W. Lower Springboro Rd. Springboro, OH 45066).
