Kay F. "Mama" Dawson

Kay F. “Mama” Dawson, second daughter of eleven, born to Fred Lee & Millie Ozetta Story Dawson on Dec. 10th left her vessel on Aug. 13, 2024 to be with her beloved Lord. 

She leaves to cherish in her memories, her children, Michael J., Jennifer L., Shea M., Kelly M., Kim M., and Kenya M. Dawson; her grandchildren, AshLeah M. Carpenter, AshLynn M. Roberts, Keziah C. Egbule, Houston T. Broadnax, and Dioro C. Geroski III; her great-granddaughter, Storie L. Carpenter; sisters, Saundra M. and Lois D. Dawson; and a host of nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; great-great-great-nieces and nephews; great-great-great-great-nieces and nephews; and many family friends. 

Kay worked beyond retirement with the State of Ohio in Nursing. 

She loved spreading the word of the Lord to everyone. Kay loved her work family as well her own. 

Everyone who knew and loved Kay will miss her tremendously.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 6th from 3-3:30pm. The service will follow at 3:30pm.
