Katlynn R. Orr "Katie", age 22 of Kettering, suddenly passed away September 2, 2022. She was born December 18, 1999 in Dayton to her parents, Heather Martin and LaGrane Orr.
She is survived by her parents; daughter, Avianna; brothers, Donavan, Kamurshoi, Marquez, and Marques; sister, Aliese; maternal grandparents, Robert and Dianne Martin; maternal grandparents, Victoria and Steve Lewis; uncle, Thomas Martin; fiancé, Tyler Lehmkuhle and numerous extended family and dear friends.
Katie enjoyed doing hair and nails on herself and her friends and family. She was an avid drawer with her many artistic abilities. Katie loved being around kids and listening to music.
Katie was able to give the ultimate gift upon her passing. She gave the Gift of Life by donating her organs in hopes of helping others. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of the ICU at Soin Medical Center and Life Connections for their love and care they had for Katie and her family.
Family will receive guests from 2-3 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439) where a Celebration of Katie's Life will begin at 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Life Connections of Ohio (3661 Brairfield Blvd, Suite 105, Maumee, OH 43537), in Katie's memory.
