Kathy Lynn Tursi

Kathy Lynn Tursi, age 70, of Huber Heights, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2022. She was born May 26, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harold and Dorothy Jane (Holter) Pestke. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Pestke; and the father of her children, Larry J. Tursi Jr..

Kathy graduated from Kiser High School in 1970. In 1974 she married Larry J. Tursi Jr. and later had two daughters, Michelle and Melissa. She worked for Good Samaritan Hospital for many years before retiring in 2010. Kathy enjoyed doing sudoku puzzles, listening to music, and absolutely loved watching The Young and The Restless. Her greatest love, however, was her family and friends. She loved being a Mom and Grandma or "Gram-cracker"- her granddaughter, Makayla was the biggest joy of her life.

Kathy is survived by her daughters: Michelle (Kevin Paragin) Brown and Melissa Tursi; granddaughter, Makayla Oehlerts; brother: Steven (Carol) Pestke; niece: Stephanie Pestke (Ariel, Gwendolyn, and Donna); cousins: Debbie Coats (Brian and Amber), Daniel Robertson, and Diane Magoto (Lindsey and Andrew); and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 2, 2022 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 10:30am. Kathy will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park.
