Kathy McCarroll

Kathy McCarroll, a beloved homemaker, was born on July 2, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio. She lived a life characterized by her stubborn yet laid-back personality, embodying a unique blend of determination and ease that touched all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Kathy spent her years nurturing her family and creating a warm home filled with love and music.

Kathy left this world on December 8, 2024, in her hometown of Riverside, where she had built a lifetime of memories. She was a passionate lover of country music, with a particular fondness for the songs of Marie Osmond. Singing karaoke brought her immense joy and was a delightful pastime that allowed her to share her spirit with those around her.

She leaves behind her sister Dianna Kay (Harold) Hutson and her brother Dennis Ray (Kourtney) Michael. Kathy also held dear her aunt Joyce Grove, along with several nieces and nephews who will always remember her love and the important role she played in their lives.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, James D. McCarroll, as well as her parents, Allphin Eugene Michael and Jessie Marie Michael. Her legacy, marked by love, music, and the strength of family bonds, will remain alive in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 12:30-1:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. A graveside service will follow at Harshman Cemetery, where Kathy will be laid to rest.
