Kathy R. "Nana Kat" Henry

Kathy R. "Nana Kat" Henry, a cherished member of her community, passed away on November 5, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio, where she was born on March 11, 1955. Kathy's spirit was both fiery and deeply dedicated to her family and friends, qualities that endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Kathy was a proud graduate of Stivers High School, where she excelled in athletics and left a lasting impression on her classmates. Her career in Home Health allowed her to touch many lives, showcasing her unwavering commitment to caring for others. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will forever be remembered by those she served.

Kathy embraced the role of mother with unconditional love, and she is survived by her cherished children, Melissa (Marcus White) Henry and Matt (Stacey) Henry. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren- Jalen White, Dylan Henry, and Ella "Bee" Henry - who brought immense joy to her life, and her great-grandchild, Aria Johnson, whom she adored. Kathy also leaves behind her sister, Julia Bocock, along with many other loving family members and friends who will forever remember her kindness, passion, and unwavering support.

Kathy joins her parents, George and Mary Bannorra, along with her siblings, Frederick Bannorra and Gwendolyn Clark, who have welcomed her with open arms.

A Visitation to honor Kathy will take place at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by her Funeral Service starting at 1:00 PM.
