Kathy Fryman

Kathy Fryman, age 61 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Sycamore Hospital. She was born August 26, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Paul and Mary Fryman.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Helen Fryman and daughter, Alexandria Luthman.

Kathy will be missed by her loving daughter, Amanda (Jamie) Farmer; grandchildren, Victoria Mercuri and Jordan McIntosh; father, Paul Fryman; sisters, Brenda (Mike) Gayman and Rhonda (Steve) VanHoose; brothers, Paul (Sherri) Fryman, Jr., Mark (Trish) Fryman and Jason (Jodi) Fryman; nieces and nephews to whom she was a very special aunt.

Kathy never met a stranger. She was funny, witty and full of sarcasm. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Kathy grew up in East Dayton and attended Wilber Wright High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Dean McIntosh, with whom she spent the first part of her life. To this union was born her first daughter, Amanda. They later divorced and Kathy met her second life-time love, Mike Luthman. They married, and to this union Kathy had her second daughter, Alexandria. She and Mike later divorced and Kathy spent the rest of her years in Dayton caring for her family as a loving mother and grandmother.

Family will receive friends Friday, May 28, 2021 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial Bearcreek Cemetery.
